THANKSGIVING FEAST

We will host our annual Founder’s Day and Thanksgiving celebration on Tuesday, November 25 beginning at 10:00.  We invite every family and friends to join us.  Sign-up sheets are posted in each classroom.  MACS will provide a ham and turkey for each class.  Each student needs to contribute $1 to the cost of the meat.  Send in your money Monday in a labeled envelope.  If you have already submitted your $1 please disregard.  All food items must be brought in disposable containers labeled with your child’s grade.  If you have any questions contact your homeroom mom or Shannon Ayers.

FALL FESTIVAL

We need two volunteers to represent MACS on the Fall Festival Committee.  The first meeting will be in Jan./Feb and you meet once a month until Sept/Oct, and then twice a month to weekly.  What do you get? Free dinner in Dec. and the opportunity to mingle with most interesting people in Micanopy.  This is a very important role for the school in the community.  As a member of the committee we receive a portion of the proceeds from the festival.  If you are interested in this position please contact Anne Thomson.

PICTURES

You need to return payment for your child’s pictures or the pictures to your child’s teacher by Friday, Dec. 5.
